Description

Uses Of Sitagliptin Tablets IP 25/50/100 mg

In combination with diet and exercise, and possibly in combination with other medications, sitagliptin helps manage high blood sugar levels. It’s used in type 2 diabetes patients. High blood sugar levels can lead to kidney failure, blindness, impaired nerve function, limb loss, and sexual dysfunction. Good diabetes control can also reduce your risk of heart attack and stroke. What is sitagliptin, and how does it work? sitagliptin, a diabetes drug, works by increasing the levels of the natural substance incretin in the blood. Incretins help regulate blood sugar levels by increasing the release of insulin, particularly after meals. They also reduce the amount of glucose made by the liver.
